just ouside our front door

hanging 12 feet up in the air

our 4 foot by 4 foot version of a Scrabble board

somebody cheated when they didn't connect "OF"

we don't know who it was

we had this street sign outside ~ facing the front parking lot

we dug a hole in the ground & set the post

but someone stole it

we reordered the components & rebuilt the sign

now it's safe inside the entrance area

we like it better here anyway ~

the corner of Meeple Street & Chess Court ~

where all the best games are played

in here are 2 large round tables that can seat up to 6 players comfortably

•the Cherry Room originated from the inspiration of this wallpaper

•we discovered it on a website in Sweden ~

& we just had to have it !!

•from there, the room evolved into the fun & unusual space that it now is

•we even scored matching chairs

•if you've never sat on a pink chair, here's your chance!

& we've got cherry red chairs

under a cherry neon light !

when you come in with kiddos, you will be seated in the Family Room

in here we have ~~~

•booster seats for toddler kiddos

•highchairs for baby kiddos

the Rook Nook has been designed in such a way that you can play tabletop games ~

but feel as if you're in a cozy home space

these little chess pieces came to hang out with the Rook

at the far end of the Family Room is the entrance to the Kid Kave

(it's not really a cave)

the Kid Kave is an extension of the Family Room

when the kiddos are in there, the adults can easily continue to play games

•when you & just 1 other person come in, you will be seated here

•shades of green surround you ~ sage green cascades from above

•our 5-year-old grandaughter calls the ceiling decor "green spider webs"

the room features unique triangle~shaped tables along the walls
