Sundries is a brand new business in the city of Abilene

■we offer TableTop Gaming

■we have

•board games

•cards

•chess

•dice

•dominoes

■we have approximately 25 tables (give or take)

■some tables are set up for 2~player games

■the others are set up for 3 & more players

■they are all neatly arranged in 4 different rooms ~ all of which are described below ↓

■& ~~~ we have a designated kid's play room ~ also described below ↓

Kiddo Games

•would you like to introduce your little one(s) to tabletop gaming?

•we have a collection of board games specifically designed for kiddos

•we are constantly adding to our collection

2~year~olds

•we have board games for littles aged 2 years & up

when you come in, we will greet you, seat you, & we will even feed you!

just ouside our front door

hanging 12 feet up in the air

our 4 foot by 4 foot version of a Scrabble board

somebody cheated when they didn't connect "OF"

we don't know who it was

we had this street sign outside ~ facing the front parking lot

we dug a hole in the ground & set the post

but someone stole it

we reordered the components & rebuilt the sign

now it's safe inside the entrance area

we like it better here anyway!

the Cherry Room

the Cherry Room is our smallest room ~ but so fun!

in here are 2 large round tables that can seat up to 6 players comfortably

•the Cherry Room originated from the inspiration of this wallpaper

•we discovered it on a website in Sweden ~

& we just had to have it !!

•from there, the room evolved into the fun & unusual space that it now is

•we even scored matching chairs

•if you've never sat on a pink chair, here's your chance!

& we've got cherry red chairs

under a cherry neon light !

the Family Room

•when you come in with kiddos, you will be seated in the family room

•so that you can introduce them to tabletop gaming, we have ~~~

•booster seats for toddler kiddos

•highchairs for baby kiddos

the Rook Nook ~ inside the Family Room

the Rook Nook has been designed in such a way that you can play tabletop games ~

but feel as if you're in a cozy home space

these little chess pieces came to hang out with the Rook

at the far end of the Family Room is the entrance to the Kid Kave

(it's not really a cave)

the Kid Kave is an extension of the Family Room

when the kiddos are in there, the adults can easily continue to play games

the Garden Room

the Garden Room is our 2~player room

•when you & just 1 other person come in, you will be seated here

•shades of green surround you ~ sage green cascades from above

•our 5-year-old grandaughter calls the ceiling decor "green spider webs"

the room features unique triangle~shaped tables along the walls

&

2 classic black round tables in the center

this mural was hand~painted

it's even more beautiful in person

the Kid Kave

we don't have a man cave

we don't have a she cave

it's all about the kiddos in this kave

this wallpaper mural came from Istanbul, Turkey

now it lives here with us in Abilene, Texas

it's way more gorgeous in person!

meet Kenny

he lives in the Kid Kave

(he's just a big ole bean~bag)

•his doggy house was hand~painted by a man who has never done wall art ~

in fact, he's never painted anything before

•Mike used a pencil & a ruler to draw the house ~

then filled it in with artist paint

•Mike drew this balloon & monkey by hand with nothing but a pencil

•then, Netty hand~painted it all

she has never painted before

she got her inspration from the exquisite wallpaper

•Netty fell in love with all the little houses on the wallpaper mural

•she wanted to replicate them onto the other Kid Kave walls

•and those clouds & sunshine ~~~

she just climbed a ladder & painted them by hand with an artist brush!

this kitchenette area will entertain all little chefs
